42,000 square feet second Las Vegas Hard Rock Café opens this summer. The huge restaurant and rock and roll memorabilia café will open its doors on July, 9, 2009.
The Hard Rock Café is a favorite eatery among Las Vegas visitors and had to open a second location, bigger and better, on the Las Vegas Strip across from the mega resort MGM Mirage Project CityCenter. You can receive a heapin helping of autographed instruments, hamburgers and super sized guitars.
Their current location adjacent to the Hard Rock Hotel is away from the Strip on Harmon Road and Paradise Road. A premium location is being located on the Strip and where bulk of the visitor foot traffic happens. The nearby five tower luxury resort will attract a lot foot traffic, too.
Near London’s Hyde Park, 38 years ago the restaurant married dining and music into a new type of restaurant, and now has locations worldwide. India has three Hard Rock Café locations with a fourth to open this spring in Hyderabad City. Japan has eight restaurants. The new Hard Rock Café in July will be number 42nd for the eatery.
The Strip location will boast the second largest Café in the world with 42.000 square feet and an ultra lounge, massive retail shop, patio dining overlooking the Strip, private meeting and function rooms. The parcel was previously home to Denny’s and near Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse.
Techies will enjoy electronic gadgetry to pick favorite music videos and Microsoft’s interactive Surface tabletops in some booths. The custom designed interactive Surface tabletops will allow internet access and the viewing of requested videos.
