Red, White and Boom, Clark County’s annual July 4th celebration is expected to be the largest event for the 2006 4th of July in Las Vegas.

This year’s festival features an expanded lineup of big-name contemporary rock and pop acts, as well as a carnival, games and exhibitions, food and beverage vendors, and a 20-minute fireworks show.

Date: July 3 & 4, 5 to 11 p.m. Gates open at 4
Place: Desert Breeze Skate Park
8275 W. Spring Mountain Road, Las Vegas
Cost: Admission is $17.50 per day in advance or $30 for a two-day pass in advance. Day of show pricing is $22 each day. Kids 12 and under are FREE.

Carry-in food or beverages, and tall lawn chairs are not allowed. Blankets, beach chairs and one bottle of water are permitted. Parking is available at Desert Breeze Park or across Spring Mountain Road at the soccer complex.

58th Annual Boulder City Damboree
Date: July 4, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Damboree Celebration continues at Veteran’s Memorial Park from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. The fireworks show begins at 9 p.m.
Place: Boulder City 

Freedom Fest 2006 - 4th of July Celebration
Date: July 4, 4 to 9 p.m.
Place: Freedom Park at Nellis AFB.
Food, entertainment, Kidz Zone & fire works.
FREE event to all DoD ID card holders.

Summerlin’s 8th Annual Star Spangled Spectacular
Date: July 4 — gates open at 4:30 p.m., concert 7:30 p.m.
Fireworks will follow the concert.
Where: Hills Park in Summerlin
How Much: Advance tickets: $20 adults, $10 children ages 6-12. Children under 5 are free.
Tickets at the gate: $25 adults, $15 children ages 6 to 12.
Children under 5 are free.
Tickets for the VIP Pavilion are $90.

The Philharmonic, under Music Director Harold Weller and Associate Conductor Richard McGee, has become one of Las Vegas’ most popular traditions. For the finale, there will be a full fireworks show by pyrotechnics company, Zambelli Internationale.

This annual community event is presented by the City of Henderson in two locations and features live music, youth activities, attractions and food concessions. Fireworks by Grucci begin at 9:00 pm. Free continuous shuttle buses are available to and from each park. No barbecuing, glass bottles, sparklers or fireworks.
