Bobby Flay Celebrates Chinese New Year At Caesars Palace Las Vegas

Chef Bobby Flay celebrates Chinese New Year at Caesars Palace Las Vegas hotel as he paints the eyes on the lion to begin the Chinese New Year celebrations on Sunday, February 6, 2011. The lunar year festivities honoring the Year of the Rabbit continued with a symbolic lion dance performance and parade throughout the Las Vegas resort.

Bobby Flay, owner and executive chef of Mesa Grill Restaurant inside Caesars Palace painted the eyes on the lion and started the Chinese New Year celebrations. Firecrackers were also lit to ward off evil spirits as a lion dance parades through the resort.
