Celebrity Karaoke Started In The Library At Marquee Nightclub Nov 14

Celebrity Karaoke kicked off in the Library at Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on November 14, 2011. Amidst the packed room, a plethora of talented singers took the stage, including a special appearance by a Michael Jackson look-and-sound alike.

Hosted by Marquee’s Mike Diamond singing a few ditties as well, the best of the best were invited for encore performances to compete for a $500 gift card to Marquee, while those dubbed karaoke buzz kills were promptly gonged off the stage.

The inaugural winner was none other than Heath Burgett of the acapella singing group Mosaic who randomly stopped by and won the crowd over with his renditions of “Superstition” by Stevie Wonder, and in the finals, Boys II Men’s “End of the Road” while leading the room in a sing-a-long while throwing in some beat boxing at the end.
