Eli Roth’s GORETORIUM held its grand opening with a packed house of souls last night of Vegas’ first year-round haunted attraction. The 15,000-square-foot $10 million project packed with state-of-the-art scares, bone-chilling special effects and a cast of horrifying characters hosted a private grand opening event.

The evening began with creator Eli Roth performing a “chainsaw” cutting ceremony on the mezzanine level of the haunt, which he brought down to the celebrity black carpet strewn with bloodied white carnations to rev up the crowd.

Notable guests that walked the black carpet included Dave Navarro (musician), JABBAWOCKEEZ, Corey Miller (TV personality/tattoo artist “LA Ink”), Zak Bagans (“Ghost Adventurers”), Victoria Asher (musician, “Cobra Starship”), DJ Paul (Three 6 Mafia), Omar Doom (actor, “Inglorious Basterds”), Dj Ashba (lead guitarist of Guns N’ Roses/Sixx: A.M.), Antonio Bellatore (host, “The Antonio Bellatore Project”/HGTV Design Star), Miss Nevada 2012 Jade Kelsall, Shanna Moakler (actress, first runner up Miss USA 1995), Zab Judah (professional boxer) and Elina Madison (actress).

Following the black carpet, Roth escorted guests to the 60’s-inspired “Baby Dolls” lounge overlooking the Strip, to partake in a special moment with world renowned illusionist Franz Harary. The actor/director got comfortable inside a vintage “exercise machine,” and twisted his upper body 360 degrees while his legs stayed in one place.

Guests gasped in horror when he began coughing up blood and “guts” were thrown into the crowd. The machine sucked a patron inside the contraption, yet Roth came out in one piece.
