Encore Las Vegas by Wynn Resorts will host Italian restaurant Sinatra.  Diners can experience the class and sophistication of a restaurant given permission, to only one company, by Sinatra’s family to use his name.

Recently, Steve Wynn discussed the list of restaurants for the $2.2 billion all suites hotel to the adjacent Wynn Las Vegas hotel.  The name of the restaurant was Theo’s, after the executive chef, Theo Schoenegger, of Los Angeles’ Patina.

Frank Sinatra’s estate and family have held the name very close and haven’t given permission for a company to use it before, a family friend, Steve Wynn.  Wynn had worked with Sinatra before when he booked him at the Golden Nugget hotel in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada during the 80’s.

Priceless memorabilia from Sinatra will be displayed in the Italian restaurant at Encore hotel including Grammy awards and the single Academy Award, for best actor in “From Here to Eternity” as a supporting roll in 1953.

Paul Anka will also loan the gold record he won for “My Way.”  The memorabilia will set the classy and authentic atmosphere apart from a museum setting. Source: LV RJ
