Epicurean Charitable Foundation Las Vegas Welcomes Michael Kennedy

The Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the Epicurean Charitable Foundation of Las Vegas (ECF) welcome Michael Kennedy, Executive Director of Food and Beverage at New York-New York Hotel & Casino, as the newest board member to the organization. As a visionary leader for ECF, Kennedy’s role as a board member will consist of sharing ideas, knowledge and experience with students while creating educational opportunities and unique experiences that will further enhance their professional development.

“I am honored to join the Epicurean Charitable Foundation of Las Vegas as I admire all they do for the community,” said Kennedy. “This is a tremendous opportunity to help mentor the next generation of professionals and pass on the lessons I’ve learned throughout my career.”

In his role as Executive Director, Kennedy oversees New York-New York’s Food and Beverage Department as he works to implement strategic plans, select entertainment options, engage in social media practices and create food and beverage promotions for the property. Kennedy oversees 15 venues including nightclubs, restaurants, concession outlets, bars and all beverage services throughout the hotel.

With more than 24 years of experience, Kennedy continues to expand his expertise in analyzing, developing and implementing policies to drive his department toward higher achievement.

Kennedy enjoys quality time with his wife and children and is a passionate volunteer for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a charity committed to funding research to find cures for childhood cancers.
