JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa Opens 2012 Pool Season March 9

JW Marriot Las Vegas Resort & Spa officially opens its 2012 pool season on Friday, March 9. The 11,000 square-foot pool will start the season with daily hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until longer daylight hours and warmer weather return to the area later in the spring.

The resort’s pool features a stunning waterfall and 12 private cabanas with complimentary access for all hotel guests. Las Vegas locals are also welcome to the JW Marriott Las Vegas pool with great prices on daily, monthly and seasonal passes.

Individual pool memberships are available for $100 a month or $300 for the entire season. Family memberships are available for $600 a month or $1,800 for the entire season. There are two family membership packages offered: two adults and up to three children or one adult and up to four children. Members of the JW Marriott Las Vegas pool will also receive discounted cabana rates, based on availability, and 10-percent off the Waterside Café Menu.

Daily pool passes will also be available for $10 for those age 12 and older and $5 for children ages 6 to 12. Children age 5 and younger receive complimentary entry into the pool area.

All pool guests can also purchase regular and grand cabanas for a full-day rate, half-day rate or a food and beverage minimum. If guests choose the food and beverage minimum payment option, they do not have to pay the full- or half-day rate in addition. Rates for cabanas are as follows:

Regular Cabanas:
Monday – Thursday, full day rate: $100; or food and beverage minimum: $250
Friday – Sunday, full day rate: $150; or food and beverage minimum: $300

Grand Cabanas:
Monday – Thursday, full day rate: $200; or food and beverage minimum: $300
Friday – Sunday, full day rate: $350; or food and beverage minimum: $450

Half-day rates start at 1 p.m. and are 50-percent off the above prices. Half-day reservations can only be made on the day of attendance.

Food and beverage minimums will be achieved by ordering from the pool’s Waterside Café Menu. The Waterside Café offers a full drink menu of signature cocktails, classic beach drinks, non-alcoholic chillers and draft and bottled beers. Food items from the Waterside menu feature traditional starters, salads, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, tacos and desserts.

JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa will also host numerous special events at the pool throughout the spring and summer, including family friendly “Dive-In Movies,” pool parties and other promotions.
