Lagasse's Stadium At The Palazzo Hosted Super Bowl XLV Football Fans
Emeril Lagasse’s famed sports fan’s Lagasse’s Stadium hosted more than 700 excited football fans for the Super Bowl XLV today. While enjoying Emeril’s signature dishes, fans wore their favorite Packers and Steelers team colors while watching all of the action on one of the 120 flat screen TVs.
“Lagasse’s Stadium is the next best thing to actually being in Dallas for the Big Game,” said Sebastian Silvestri, vice president of food and beverage at The Venetian and The Palazzo. “There is nothing like it. Lagasse’s Stadium has the best energy and everyone’s favorite game day eats with a twist - it’s Las Vegas ‘ premier sports bar and a celebrity favorite.”
In attendance was James Beard award-winning Chef Thomas Keller of the celebrated Bouchon restaurant at The Venetian. Keller was seen enjoying the game in a Skybox with friends and Bouchon executive chef Mark Hopper.
While touchdowns and chicken wings may not be associated with romance and weddings, couple Mike Ferrara and Dixie Stiles made a Lagasse’s Stadium first today by saying “I do” during half time.
“We thought it would be cool! We are both huge football fans and we love Lagasse’s Stadium.” said Stiles. “I can’t believe no one has done this before!” After visiting Lagasse’s Stadium back in August, the two sports fanatics loved the venue and decided to exchange their vows on the NFL’s biggest day. “It was her idea!” said the husband-to-be. “A woman that wants to marry me on the biggest sports day of the year, what more could I ask for?” Photo credit: IS Photography/ Images of Vegas
