Nevada Ballet Theatre Celebrates 35 Years In Summerlin

Nevada Ballet Theatre In SummerlinNevada Ballet Theatre, Summerlin Las Vegas resident dance company, will celebrate 35 years with its “Ballet Under the Stars,” an outdoor evening performance at The Hills Park in Summerlin Nevada amphitheatre on Sept. 9, at 8 p.m. Summerlin is very culturally rich and quick access to Red Rock Resort Las Vegas and the Red Rock Mountains and Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. The two-hour repertory program, produced by the ballet’s artistic director Bruce Steivel, will feature a variety of short dance vignettes, including a modern story ballet about the early years of Las Vegas’ colorful history. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger with gates opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the theater, located at 1651 Inner Circle or by phone at 243-2623.
