Newlyweds DWTS Melissa Rycroft & Tye Strickland Celebrates 29th B'day
Newlyweds DWTS Melissa Rycroft and Tye Strickland celebrates Tye’s 29th birthday in Sin City over the weekend. The lovebirds stayed at the Palazzo Las Vegas resort. Rycroft is also an Entertainment Tonight correspondent.
The recently married couple returned to the Palazzo and The Venetian, since December, for Tye’s special weekend. Their accommodations were in a sienna suite where the property had included a welcome surprise.
The party started early Friday night at TAO Asian Bistro, a favorite restaurant of many, where Melissa and Tye dined on a chef’s menu of TAO favorite dishes. Additionally, Tye enjoyed the Chilean Sea Bass for his entree.
The night wouldn’t be complete until they went upstairs to TAO Nightclub with friends for the remainder of the evening. Everyone in the club knew it was Tye’s birthday because the DJ gave a shout out.
After a night of dancing the couple was spotted at the Canyon Ranch SpaClub Saturday morning for a couples massage. Melissa said “It was amazing.â€
The pool season has started in Las Vegas, Nevada and Tye and Melissa spent the afternoon playing and relaxing in their private cabana at Palazzo’s AZURE Pool.
During Tye’s previous Bachelor’ weekend experience at the Palazzo he enjoyed taking in a Las Vegas show of Phantom of the Opera. He like the show so much the staff presented him with a Phantom of the Opera Buttercream birthday cake.
The couple kept busy by starting Saturday evening with some cocktails at FIRST restaurant. Then they attended the hilarious standup comedy show of Joan Rivers in the Venetian Showroom ending with a backstage meet & greet.
