Plaza HotelPlaza hotel in downtown Las Vegas is ready for a new look with facelift in the near future.  The hotel wants to renovate and leave in the past a look of thirty years ago.

The hotel casino doesn’t look much different then when Jackie Gaughan owned the property.  One great perk for guests, the room rates haven’t changed drastically either.

The Plaza is one of the largest hotels downtown and still offers a very affordable room rate.

The current hotel owners, Tamares Las Vegas Properties, just completed a lawsuit where they lost to continue using the Plaza name for their property.  The $6 billion Plaza hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, across from Wynn Las Vegas and Trump International Hotel, was granted the rights to the name.

Major changes include bathroom renovations and cosmetic differences in the hotel room.

Prototypes of new hotel rooms have been completed on the 15th floor.  Several choices of renovations from the Las Vegas resentative of Tamares, Jonathan Josses, have been completed for possible choices. Source: Review Journal
