POWERBALL Lotto Store Renovation At Primm Valley Resorts For Demand

POWERBALL demand leads to the Lotto Store improvements at Primm Valley Casino Resorts in preparation of the upcoming POWERBALL lottery game, on sale April 8. The California Lottery Commission recently voted to adopt the multi-state, mega-jackpot lottery game, and the first drawing will take place on April 10, 2013.

“As the most convenient location for Southern Nevada residents to participate in lottery games, the Lotto Store at Primm Valley has seen significant visitation in recent years,” said Loren Gill, executive vice president and general manager of Primm Valley Casino Resorts. “We chose to make improvements to update the facility in order to increase efficiency when serving our customers before the POWERBALL game was introduced. Additional service windows will help our staff to provide an even better winning guest experience.”

The lotto store recently added four more stations to the existing seven in order to create an efficient customer path when purchasing their tickets, along with adding two additional self-service machines. The inside of the store has been completely renovated to provide a new fresh appearance to guests.

The $2 POWERBALL game is played much like the popular MEGA Millions® game. Players choose five numbers from 1 to 59 and one red POWERBALL number from 1 to 35. Players can either choose their own numbers or opt for a Quick Pick.

Drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:59 p.m. PST. Unlike MEGA Millions and SuperLotto Plus®, POWERBALL’s sales end occurs promptly at 7 p.m. PST each draw day. Besides the jackpot, there are eight additional ways to win prizes. The amounts will vary due to the state’s pari-mutuel rules.

A major difference between California’s existing draw games is that the POWERBALL jackpot begins at $40 million and increases by at least $10 million every roll.

The Primm Valley Lotto Store is open daily from 8 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.
