Rhodes Homes Las Vegas Has New Chief Executive Officer Frederick Chin

Rhodes Homes Tuscany VillageRhodes Homes Las Vegas names Frederick Chin as chief executive officer. Rhodes Homes is Las Vegas real estate largest privately owned home builder and it is Rhodes Homes first change since it was founded in 1986 by Jim Rhodes.

Chin, 47, will oversee Rhodes Homes Las Vegas homebuilding operations as well as other real estate investment holdings in California, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico. He most recently served as chief operating officer.

“Fred made it both his personal mission and that of the company’s to become one of the largest and financially strongest private homebuilders and community developers in the Southwest. Over the past seven years, Fred assisted in everything from the financial restructuring of the business in 1999 to securing a $500 million credit facility in 2005,” said Rhodes.Rhodes has built over 7,000 new homes in Las Vegas and 30 communities around the Las Vegas Valley during the last twenty years. The firm currently has two local master-planned communities being built including Rhodes Ranch Las Vegas, the 1,000-acre, 3,000-home, and the 2,000-home, 18-neighborhood Tuscany Village in Henderson real estate. In addition, a Rhodes Homes affiliate recently acquired 1,010 acres of Phoenix land for sale totalling $58.6 million, or $58,019 per acre. A master-planned community will emerge out of the acquired land.
