SF Giants Sergio Romo Meets Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas At Palms
SF Giants pitcher Sergio Romo meets Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas at Palms hotel on Friday, January 28, 2011. The San Francisco Giant, 2010 World Series champion, dedicated some time to meet 20 lucky children of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas for some personal time and autographed baseballs.
Romo shared his stories of how he became the professional athlete and the children enjoyed their time with the major league ball player during the afternoon. With the increasing popularity around Romo’s beard, the kids had a great time wearing their own fake beards and taking photos with the sports star.
The kids enjoyed ball park snacks including hot dogs by N9NE Steakhouse, orange-flavored cotton candy provided by Simon Restaurant + Bar and popcorn by Brenden Theatres.
