The latter configuration has quickly become a favorite among the professional driving instructors.

The completion of the new course insures hosted guests will have an even more memorable time on the track. Determined drivers will enjoy a track validated by the official track designer for Indy Car, featuring a banked bowl turn, a driving situation only found in a professional racing environment.

Although time on the track is often the most adrenaline-inducing part of the attraction, the experience program integrates classroom education and familiarization laps and on-track one-on-one coaching from a racing instructor. Participants can customize their driving experience, choosing everything from the cars they drive to the number of laps on the course. Packages start at $199.

Founded by award-winning French stunt driver Romain Thievin and his business partner David Perisset, Exotics Racing has hosted more than 60,000 tourists and locals alike since opening their doors in 2009. Thievin’s driving skills have appeared in more than 150 movies, including the blockbuster hit Bourne Identity where he worked as Matt Damon’s stunt double.

“Racing and stunt driving is my passion,” said Thievin. “Las Vegas is the perfect city to share my passion for cars; we’ve created an exhilarating experience for visitors from around the world. We have a collection of cars that most people will never see in their lifetime.”

“We have designed the new track specifically with our exotic cars in mind,” adds Perisset. “Incorporating a combination of fast and slow turns, we have made not only excitement but technique the main focal points. On our track drivers will have three opportunities to experience these supercars at speeds of 100+ mph while still maintaining safety and racing professionalism; making this one of the most entertaining and exhilarating experiences in the world.”

Located approximately 20 minutes from the famed Las Vegas Strip, Exotics Racing was recently dubbed one of the top attractions in Las Vegas by TripAdvisor.com. Exotics Racing houses the world’s largest fleet of supercars, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Aston Martin, McLaren, Audi, Mercedes, and many more; a collection valued at more than $6 million.

The track is open to the public Tuesday - Sunday, and is available for groups and private events, including a Stunt Driving Experience in specially-equipped Mini Coopers. Corporate events are also available for groups of 15 - 400 guests per day. Photo credit: Bill Cody
