The Shops At Summerlin Centre Includes Dillards, Macys And Nordstrom
The Shops at Summerlin Centre in Las Vegas, Nevada real estate includes Dillard’s, Macy’s and Nordstrom. The real estate developer of Summerlin Las Vegas announced two new additional retail anchors for the 1.5 million square foot retail center adjacent to Red Rock Casino Las Vegas.
Total anchors announced for the centre include Crate and Barrel home furnishings, Nordstrom, Macy’s and Dillard’s. The commercial real estate in Las Vegas, NV will include office space, more than 100 retailers and about a dozen restaurants. Many more retailers are interested in setting up shop at the project.
To follow suit in Las Vegas with other developers with the initiative of building green, The Shops at Summerlin Centre will ask for pre certification under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating System.
Some of the initiatives for becoming LEED certified will be green cleaning products and building materials to improve air quality; waste management and recycling programs; tenant guidelines to encourage green practices and compliance throughout the center; bike racks and showers for employees so they can bike to work; white roofs that reduce heat absorption; maximization of natural light; high-efficiency air conditioning to reduce energy consumption; and easy access to public transportation.
The Summerlin Centre shopping center expects to deliver an entertainment destination similar to The District in Green Valley.
The developer of The Shops at Summerlin Centre expects the opening to take place mid October 2009.
