Timber Creek homes in North Las Vegas, NV are first built green homes certified by The Southern Nevada Green Building Partnership this week. These model North Las Vegas homes are verifiable green built by Pulte Home.
The new models meet the program’s requirements for energy, resource, indoor environmental quality and water efficiency that exceed the industry standards and government codes for new home residential construction in Las Vegas real estate.
A third party verification and inspection is made by the partnership that the program requirements have been followed in the residential real estate design and construction: and then issues the home’s certification that it has met the program’s requirements of green building.
Southern Nevada has special building requirements needed for the extreme conditions new homes must withstand and the Las Vegas new home builders follow The Green Building Partnership’s 10 page green building program to become certified. The partnership is between the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association and the Green Building Initiative of Portland, Oregon.
At completion, Timber Creek North Las Vegas real estate, will include 78 finished homes. In addition to the green building, the neighborhood is participating in the Water Smart Home program and the city of Las Vegas Green Building Program offered by the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association and the Water Smart Home program.
