WET REPUBLIC Star Studded DJ Line-UP Announced For March And April

WET REPUBLIC star studded DJ line up for March and April has been announced to launch the pool season into high gear. Beginning Saturday, March 30, Las Vegas’ hottest pool party destination will welcome the world’s most celebrated electronic dance music artists who will provide non-stop, action-filled entertainment for guests.

The line-up consists of (in alphabetical order) Calvin Harris, deadmau5, Hardwell, NERVO, Steve Aoki and Tommy Trash, among others. Pool season officially will be in full effect as partygoers flock to the iconic daytime hot spot for its Grand Opening weekend blowout Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21.

Saturday, March 30 – Tommy Trash: WET REPUBLIC kicks off the 2013 summer pool season with GRAMMY Award-nominated Australian DJ and producer Tommy Trash when he makes his daytime debut, spinning his highly celebrated anthems. Thomas Olsen, better known as Tommy Trash, has been rocking the charts and dance floors ever since appearing on the scene in 2006. The Electro-House DJ has created high-profile remixes for heavy hitters including Swedish House Mafia, deadmau5, Kaskade and many more.

Sunday, April 7 – Calvin Harris: Pool season will be in full swing as bikini-clad beauties line up to see GRAMMY Award-winning Calvin Harris when he launches the first date of his daytime residency. Harris has earned multiple awards including Best Electronic Video for “Feel So Close” and Video of the Year for “We Found Love” featuring Rihanna at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. He also took home a GRAMMY Award for Best Short Form Music Video at the recent 2013 GRAMMY Awards. Additionally, he was nominated for “Best British Male” at the BRIT Awards in 2010 and 2013 and was named the “World’s Most Successful Songwriter” in 2011 and 2012 by Music Week.

Sunday, April 14 – Tommy Trash and NERVO: Australian-born DJ Tommy Trash arrives at the daylife mecca when he mans the decks of the “It” pool party and spins his hits for the masses. It will be a Sunday filled with non-stop entertainment as the beloved DJ duo NERVO takes over the venue and keeps the party going until the sun goes down. The celebrated pair, featuring Australian sisters Mim and Liv Nervo, made a name for themselves in the U.S. after opening for Nicki Minaj and Britney Spears on the Femme Fatale Tour. They also have played at a number of music festivals including Electric Daisy Carnival, Lollapalooza and Ultra Music Festival.

Saturday, April 20 – Hardwell: The Revealed Recordings impresario and dance music juggernaut Hardwell kicks off WET REPUBLIC’s highly anticipated Grand Opening weekend when he showcases his mind-blowing sets for thousands of bronzed poolgoers. The Dutch Big Room House producer and DJ broke into the scene in 2009 and has since produced a handful of chart-topping singles including his collaboration with Tiësto, “Zero 76,” “Spaceman,” and most recently his stellar track “Apollo.”

Sunday, April 21 – deadmau5: Summertime revelers are in for a treat as dance music phenomenon deadmau5 continues the mayhem of WET REPUBLIC’s Grand Opening weekend and heads home to where daylife began.GRAMMY-nominated deadmau5 is known for his infectious music and iconic mau5head donned during his performances. Paving the path for the electronic music era, the entertainer became the first electronic dance music artist to grace the cover of Rolling Stone in June 2012 and gave a legendary performance at the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards in 2012, marking the first-ever televised celebration of electronic music.

Saturday, April 27 – Calvin Harris: The daytime party continues as the “We Found Love” artist Calvin Harris returns, creating a must-see, must-experience bash that will leave poolgoers wanting more. Harris has worked in various capacities with a number of internationally known recording artists including Rihanna, Florence Welch, Ellie Goulding, Dizzee Rascal, Cheryl Cole and Kylie Minogue and will take over the Las Vegas daylife party destination, showcasing his unrivaled talents.

Sunday, April 28 – Steve Aoki: Fans will line up en masse as the highly celebrated DJ and producer Steve Aoki heads to the Vegas hot spot and reveals his exclusive party. Aoki will transform the ultra pool when he debuts his futuristic daytime party AOKIFY SPLASH VEGAS that will bring his popular AOKIFY mobile app to life. The DJ, producer and California native began his musical career as founder of Dim Mak Records in 1996, which has released more than 250 records from well-known house artists including Datsik, Diplo, Laidback Luke, The Bloody Beetroots and his own collaboration with fellow DJ Tiësto.
